Hi peeps...
this post took much longer to be out than i originally planned...
been kinda busy settling down and stuff lately...
So...
as the title goes..
and in case you still havent know...
i had an internship with ING for 3 months...
and ING is an insurance company...
i was doing admin kinda work at their HQ at Jalan Raja Chulan...
was placed at procurement division...
honestly speaking i was a little bit not so looking forward for the internship at first...
because of all the scary stuff people said to me...
some told me internship is like a total hell when they gives you the least money but the most work...
and also almost everyone said how dangerous and scary KL is...
and how unreliable the public transports in KL are...
fyi i have never used public transport in KL until i started my internship there...
and i am particularly poor at knowing my direction and going to places...
so just the idea of working in KL and traveling alone really do turn me off alot...
but thank God i survived the 3 months and was safe throughout...

As for work related...
nothing too technical i would say..
but i did learnt a lot of useful skills to do with the corporate world...
and most importantly...
i've get to know a lot of nice colleagues...
from my divison and others...
whom all treated me super well...
am super blessed...

And the most touching thing!!!
they had a (sort of surprise) farewell lunch for me...
it's super funny...
because they've been sneaking around having small talks on something for days...
which is very strange...
cause most of the time they will chat kinda loud in the office...
and my divison is not that big...
so i heard a lil bit of this and that occasionally...
started to get suspicious...
and one of my colleagues who sits just right behind me...
who keeps calling to catering company with all the details....
and there's one day that few of them were having a discussion at the division table with super soft voice...
and all of them kept quiet when i passby...
so by picking up a lil bit of info here and there i figured something...
and one fine day my supervisor was whispering something to my manager...
and after that i heard him saying...
'of course must tell her... if not she MC or on leave then how?!!!'
and soon after that i received an email saying...
'Dear all, we will be having a division lunch this friday to farewell MeiYen, please block your calender'
so that confirmed my guessing..
but the awkward thing is...
they continue to whisper to each other even after i was told about the farewell...
so for that few days in office...
i am not sure whether i should talk about that or not...

days before i went back to ipoh after i finished my internship...
